Catering Partnership Opportunity – Babbage’s Bistro, Mountain View Innovation Centre.

Mountain View Innovation Centre is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced and ambitious catering operators to become the new catering partner for Babbage’s Bistro, our well-established café and event catering facility.

Situated within the 25-acre headquarters of AFD Software Ltd – The Postcode People, Mountain View Innovation Centre is also home to a thriving business community comprising resident companies, flexible workspace users, meeting room & conference facilities and Grasshoppers Nursery. Alongside this established onsite community, Mountain View welcomes a steady flow of business visitors, event delegates and members of the public who enjoy the café, landscaped grounds, sculpture trail and nature walks throughout the year.

This presents a unique opportunity to take on an established catering business with a loyal customer base and multiple income streams already in place, while offering significant scope to develop and grow the business further.

The opportunity includes:

• An established weekday café serving staff, tenants, visitors and members of the public.
• Catering for Grasshoppers Nursery.
• Hospitality for meetings, conferences and corporate events.
• Licensed bar operations (subject to the necessary licensing requirements).
• Opportunities to develop additional onsite and external catering services in partnership with Mountain View Innovation Centre.

Unlike many catering opportunities, this arrangement benefits from an attractive commercial model, with the use of a fully equipped commercial kitchen, café premises and core infrastructure provided as part of the agreement, helping to manage operating overheads and allowing the successful operator to focus on growing the business.
